The Agrarian Law it’s a compilation of legal dispositions for the organization of the rustic, raw land, common land, or any land which is property of the nation. Any which has as purpose the agrarian exploitation or investment it is stated on the 27th Article of the Politic Constitution of the “Estados Unidos Mexicanos” as the legal precept of origin.

The Agrarian, Territorial and Urban Development Ministry “Secretaría de Desarrollo Agrario, Territorial y Urbano”  “SEDATU” (before the Secretaría de la Reforma Agraria) is the one in charge of the exercise and organization of the attributions and faculties the 27th Constitutional Article dictates, the Agrarian Law and other correlated laws together with the Agrarian Courts, the Agrarian Office and the National Agrarian Registry.
